Youth Summer Camp 2005

RAVEN RESORT, Bataan
I’m really excited at this said occasion, because I know it’s really fun-fun-fun, well I prove that I was right, but I think all youth camp in COP is really fun-fun-fun.
Well @ first the groupings, I belong to the group of Myrtle, where my leader was Isaiah Sanchez, which is a first-timer, good thing his assistant leader is Coy Natividad which, let me say, a veteran in joining camps (hehehe). Our group was not that high-profiled unlike the other groups, but I really enjoyed our group. My group mates were, Mick, Mykl, Lenon, Faith, Ana and Ate Amie, and also the said leaders. We usually make threats of our leader that all of us will backslide if he will not stop standing again and again when we are eating. I even don’t know why is it that our leader is keep on fixing things when we are eating, but I think he is just that conscious enough to check if the group is ok. In Tagalog “mabusisi”. He always make sure that the group was ok and been taken cared of even before himself. Well, I just wonder if he himself is thinking about his own comfort? Hmm… no question about that, but I salute him because he handled our group well and we survive, even though he is a first timer. We usually merged with the group of Carub, which is leaded by Ron-Ron Chua. I also salute this guy because just like Isaiah, he is a first timer but also a leader, and he handled his group well.
The controversial ROOM 17. Our room was above the Room 16, and I can say it is a Hotel Type. We have two rooms, a kitchen, a sala set and a CR. We are actually less than 20 in the said room and we only have one dilemma, the CR!!! Because we’re so many. My sister and I occupied one of the regular beds, and not in the mattress and in the other side, the other bed were occupied by Ate Jhoanne and Apple… Lovely, Darlene, Maybelle and Josie were also there and we also have a great time with each other, especially all the scandals, and everything, the story of the stolen deodorants and towels. It is certified fun-fun-fun.
All in all I can say that the camp is “SUPER LUWAG” because of more free time than the other youth camp held before and most of all, the RULE #7 was not that strictly implemented, for me... Well to those who don’t know the Rule #7, better join the camp. But in spite of it, I will boldly say with a standing ovation it is really fun-fun-fun.
