Prudential Life
Life has its ups and downs; our business went down at that moment. This time Mama does not allow me to go to COP anymore, and she wanted me to quit the team and I believe it is because of financial difficulties our family has at that time. So Ate Manie and I decided to apply for a job to help our family, while it is still vacation time.
April 22, 2005, Friday, Ate Manie and I went to Makati to pass our application in different companies, until we went to Prudential Life. On-the-spot, we’ve been interviewed and scheduled for training. Monday afterwards, I was been trained as a tele-marketer. Then after a week, I was hired. I did have colleagues there but most of them were gays. Knowing that I’m a friendly person and a “babaeng-bakla” I easily relate myself to them. Until I found myself, hanging around with them, meaning tolerating their gay-lingo’s where I knew that it is a wicked thing. Then the office itself, my co-employees are all used to smoke and saying filthy expressions, where I’m not used to hear. I always have a headache also when I got home because of the smoke of cigarettes that I involuntarily inhaled in the office. I can’t stand the worldly environment in the said office, that’s why even though it’s hard for me I resigned. I knew I’m not used to quit things, which I started, but in that case, I would rather be called a quitter than pollute myself in such things.

Manila Zoo Day

As I remember, it is a Monday, after our class, we went to Manila Zoo, with Ate Jhoanne, Kuya Craig, Daniel “luvskie”, and Bless, and we really have a great time in riding a boat, with Daniel doing the job to keep the boat moving. Haahahahaha it is really fun-fun-fun.

Youth Short Term Bible School
April 11, 2005, 10:00 a.m. I went to COP to rehearse for Veggie Tales, but I got bored that’s why I went to the River Room where I know the YSTBS is on going. Kuya Juancho Cabcaban asked me why are we not participating in the said event, we it means the Celebration and Bravo Team. Then I told him, because of the practice of Veggie Tales, but I decided to join the YSTBS that time without requiring us to do because Ate Jhoanne was there, and I believe that it’ll be fun-fun-fun. In YSTBS, I have given the chance to meet new friends, such as, Ron-Ron, Isaiah, Chibi, Charlie, Gian and Ye-ye (though I knew them before, I used to know them even more). Then at the latter time, CAD Teams were been required to join in the said event. The YSTBS lasts for two weeks as it was scheduled. And from all the things I’ve learned, it is merely a fun-fun-fun.
