Beautiful Inside and Out

I used to wanna live inside a fairytale. I wanted to be perfect and complete, but everytime I tried to figure out my life, I was always disappointed with the ending. But everything's different now, I am not ashamed anymore. Lately, it's so amazing what You're doing to me, rearranging me from the inside out. Only You can take away all my superficial ways, You have shown me what BEAUTY'S about, from the INSIDE OUT!!!

First Day Funk

June 13, 2005 I was really excited on what would happen in my first day in school.. It happened to be my first day but PGMA declared that it will be a non-working holiday.
The next day, Tuesday, it was scheduled to be a 7:30-10:30 class only. I was there around 7:25. Then five minutes passed, 7:30 the professor went out from the computer room and asked me what section is me and I answered him "IV-3" and he answered me with another uestion. "Ikaw pa lang?", definitely I dobn't have any idea if I was the only "IV-3" student who is there, but then i just answered "Sir, hindi ko pa kasi killa kung sino ang mga classmate ko" and then he nodded, as he locked the computer room. "I'll be back, so please wait" his last statement before walking away.
As i watched him walked away from the room, i thing he's already at his sixties. then few students arrived and stayed outside where i stayed, and i think they are my classmates then.
The male professor came back and he unlocked the door and told ust to come in. I think we're only seven there and a few minutes the other students entered the room also.
I got disappointed when i found out that most of my classmates are latecomers, knowing thatthey are already fourth year and they should know how to manage their own schedule. another thing is the Professor asked the late comers one-by-one the reaon why they are late, but the worst of all is they can't express themselves well in using English language, i believe that they do know how to speak english because they can't enter the University if they couldn't, but the problem i believe they are having right now is the fact that they cna't express what they fell and what they want to communicate to others. well, it's my first impression about them, so if ever I was wrong, I'm so sorry.
The second day of my school was Thursday, there I've already had the time to know them even more. I met Haina whom the first studen who say "hi" to me, she introdunced the other classmates but among the students she introduced i only managed to remember one name, the girl sitting beside her, Nancy. I also met Florida and Carina who's my seatmate, then Maricar. The following meetings, I got to know few guys, such as Addy, R.V., and Christian. For me Christian was the most eye-catching for me, not because of what he look like, but the way he act, i think he's funny and definitely he is. by the way, the thing i like with my classmates is, there is no gay... I think it's all for now.. thanks for reading this post!!!

First Time in Harvest Truck

Last October 2003, Ate Connie Gallardo trained me, vocally, to sing in a Harvest Truck, to minister through singing in a truck which is accompanied with the feeding program of Cathedral of Praise, COP. The November of the same year, I auditioned to Pastor Marvin Lucas, the piece ‘God Loves You” originally sung by Rachel Lampa. Afterwards, Pastor Marvin, recommended me to Pastor Manalo as a potential singer of the Harvest Truck. But before that, Pastor Marvin, taught me the piece “The Glory” which is originally sung by Avalon. Then the week after, I auditioned to Pastor Manalo. For me, the audition was fine, but sad thing, the Harvest Truck Programme was been removed from the line of ministry.
But then, the audition of the Team members for celebration and bravo was been announced, and so I audition my self to the said team, and by God’s mercy, I’ve been put to Celebration Team 2004. I will say that one reason of me joining the team is the unfinished goal of mine to sing in a harvest truck.
I’ve been trained so well by Ma’am Babes Sta. Ana, my vocal coach, and Pastora Dave, my second vocal coach, together with the vocal coach of Celebration Team, Regin Varona. I would say that I improved so much from joining the team. I’ve been trained for better, to be an excellent minister of God.
At the end of my term in Celebration Team, the Harvest Truck program was backed in the line of ministry of COP, now I understand why God have made me first join the team, before He let me sing in the Harvest Truck. Now I understand what, ministering to people and God really means. And also, I can say that from the training I’ve been into I am much equipped with excellence, and anointing to minister before God.
Then, last Monday June 6, 2005, it’s my first slot to sing in the Harvest Truck, my partner then is Kuya Jojo, I was trembling and scared of what would happen, because it’s my first time to sing. I prepared “The Glory”, and kuya jojo said, that it really fits my voice range… good thing they appreciated my song.bataan with kuya jojo (thank you kuya jojo!!! for encouraging me)
But the most overwhelming part of this singing in a Harvest Truck is not the applause of people but what do they responded after hearing the song, if the message of the song strikes on them. Good thing, God is still merciful and really loves them, that they accepted Jesus Christ in their lives. It will definitely makes you really smile, when you see them accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior, knowing that it’s you who was chosen by God to be used as a light and channel of His love to other people.
One thing I’ve learned from this experience is, GOD IS REALLY MERCIFUL GOD. And He loves people so much…. :)
